A. We provide Internet service through VSAT. Our VSAT service are based on ku band and C-band.

Q. What is required for my Internet connection?
A. Purchase and installation of our internet equipment and monthly subscription.

Q. Do I pay monthly fee for the equipment?
A. No. The equipment is a one time purchase and installation.

Q. What is IP network?
A. IP networks are networks built on transmission control protocol/internet/ protocol (TCP/IP). IP networks were originally for computer or packet signal communication, however with advance in technology an IP network can also be enabled for voice and video to be communicated over the network. Thus your computer network can be used for making calls and viewing a video surveilance.

Q. How do I enable voice on my IP network?

Q. What is the difference between website, domain name and web hosting?
A. A website is a collection of html and/or other application and graphic files that are interlinked together to make meaning to a user and provide information or serves as an avenue to collect information to and/or from visitors. It is made to be viewed by anyone with access to the web address at anywhere in the world. A domain name is an Internet name that serves as the address to a website. A web host is a location where a website is kept for access by visitors.

Q. How do I get a website?
A. To get a website you need to understand what you want to achieve and then communicate this to a web designer or developer who will do the designs/development and subsequently register a domain name for the website and get the website hosted on a server with the domain name pointed to that server so that visitors can get access to the website using the registered domain name.

Q. Where are your web servers and why?
A. All our web servers are in the USA. This is for the sake of stable and reliable power supply which ensure that our servers are always available. Also for connection to the world major Internet backbone.

Q. How do I get you to design and host our website?
A. Send your website content to us via e-mail (web@siteaweb.com) or visit our office or schedule a meeting with us and our web experts will work for your designs or development. After designs/development, you will be billed for domain name registration and web hosting. And after acceptance of the designs/development, it will be put online for you.

Q. Do you charge for website maintenance?
A. Yes we do, depending on the extent of the maintenance, however all other support service are free.

Q. Can you redesign/update or develop an existing website?
A. Yes. Once you communicate what you want, we will carry out the redesign/update or development.

Q. Can we transfer our hosting to you?
A. Yes, you can.

Q. How do we transfer without our website going down.
A.Outside your Internet domain name, our hosting has a hosting address that we will first of all upload your website to before redirecting your domain name. After duplicating the content we then redirect the domain name to the new host. The only delay we may experience is in the time your domain name new DNS is propagated on the Internet. Outside this propagation period you will not experience down time.
